Whap! and OnLine!

Do you know anything about BBS-PC!'s method of using the serial.device? I had
previously assumed that it was going to the hardware, but now that you've
mentioned "shared-mode", I believe it may be grabbing it in exclusive mode.
The reason I ask the question, is that I ALWAYS have BBS-PC! running in the
foreground, with WordPerfect, Whap! and some utilities in the background. When
I want to Whap!Cis, I have to close down BBS-PC! when I really don't want to.
Not such a bad thing with hard drive speeds, but I am always trying to make my
life easier! Perhaps I should Whap! a message to MicroSystems Software
concerning this matter.
