Hard disk woes time. The night before the AmiEXPO, I used the AmigaDOS 'format' command to clear the DH0: (two meg) partition on my Supra drive. I thought this command would work fine, and after the format, the drive's other 3 partitions were as normal. I loaded a few animations and pictures into the DH0: partition, and everything seemed fine. Parked the drive, and drove to Chicago. I never rebooted before I powered down, and voila, when I tried to boot at the show, it wouldn't. Tried re-seating all the connectors, tried swapping in another controller from Supra, to no luck. I had to reformat when I came back home. Why did the 'format' command kill my drive? Any hard disk experts have any advice?
