I'm here with my Amiga and happy with it, but the boss at work is a Macaphile.
The Mac II is a memory hog. To use the finder on a II takes over 2 meg of ram,
3 is better. This appears to be the break even point, not what you need to
actually run an application. Your problems with the Mac+ may have been a
"lack" of RAM.
