Mike, I never said that UltraCard "MONITOR MOUSE MESSAGES". It's just that I grabbed one of the Windows off of the UltraCard 1.0 browser demo with PowerWindows and couldn't find any gadgets on it. The Menus were there, but no Gadgets. Now this was on the rolodex screen, I think, and none of the fields that appeared on the Window were represented by string Gadgets. I also noticed that if I typed too far in the fields the characters extended out beyond the field's visible area and I got a lot of garbage right below the field. This, of course, is not the way that Intuition string Gadgets work. I don't have your source code, so naturally I cannot really say exactly what was going on, but it seemed that you were definitely substituting some of your own code for a basic Amiga construct: The string Gadget. Is that not correct? Anyway, relax. Of course UltraCard uses the OS, its running on an Amiga, after all. My comment was meant for emphasis that CanDo utilizes and gives access to nearly every major feature of Intuition and the rest of the OS like no other software I've ever seen. Add to that that the software that runs its scripts is under 100K and can be made resident, and I think we have one great tool. We don't even intend to compare our product with yours.
