John, Fortunately it is quite simple to use your Syquest cartridge for both backups and to store files on. Instead of choosing Tape/Removables under the backup options requester, Choose AmigaDos file and specify a file name on a Syquest cartridge formatted as an AmigaDos volume. This option is useful if you wish to backup several smaller partitions on one Syquest cartridge.
