Thanks a lot. I really HATE the idea of going to a service center
without knowing what is wrong. I don't like being at the mercy of anyone. I'll
try what you suggested but it's looking more and more as if I'll have to have
it replaced.
If worst comes to worst, would you happen to know what a new
motherboard should cost in NYC? I'd rather not pay $600 when I
less.
