It would indeed. Problem is that it need not be that way. The 68030, like the
68020 can talk to slower ram/devices, so the CHIP mem could be running slower
than the other mem and the '030, and it would still work. A 32 bit bus, if it
included the CHIP bus and the 32 bit-wide custom chips to handle it would be a
screamer though, even running at the same speed they are now.
