Or you could just assume you're where you want to be and say in big bold letters "Requires AmigaDOS 1.4+" on the package. After all, downward compatibility can be as much of a headache for you as it is for the OS manufacturer. I don't see anything wrong with requiring OS rev "n" or higher to run any given package.
