A2091 Help Needed!
I've got a question I'm hoping someone can help answer or point me in the
right direction. I've got the A2091 hard drive controller with an internal
SCSI drive on it. I am also looking to add a drive to the external SCSI
port it provides but I've heard there are problems there, especially if the
drive has removeable media.
I know there are new ROMs available for the 2091 and I have them on order.
The drive I am trying to get is the Sony Magneto Optical drive which stores
640 MBytes per disk. Since this is a true SCSI interface I figured that
shouldn't be a problem. The problem will probably be with the 2091 and how
the disk is mounted and recognized. Anyone have any ideas? If an entry in
my mountlist can be added and then the drive mounted then I'd be happy to
go that way. I'm not sure how the rigid block stuff works on the 2091.
Any ideas or thoughts on this are most welcome. If you have an idea of
what a mountlist should look like please feel free to help out!
