The A500/A2000 Technical Reference Manual is probably what your looking
for to get information on the Brigdeboard Stuff. It contains the Interface
Memory Maps, Register Descriptions, Block Diagram (XT Only), Janus Library
public routine descriptions, BIOS entry points and all of the Include file
listings needed. Unfortunately, it doesn't go into any great detail on how
to use them (actually no detail at all). You have to figure that out
yourself.
You have to order it direct from C=. There's a file somewhere in the
Libs, I believe its called CBMDOC.TXT which gives a list of all the
technical documentation that's available from C= (as of 3/88 anyways).
I just bought the manual last month for the same reasons, to see if I
can figure out how to write my own software to have both sides communicate
with each other. The problem is, i'm still fairly new to programming on
the Amy side. If you get anywhere on it, i'd love to hear about it.
It costs $40.00 to get if you send a letter to the following address:
Software Tech Support
ATTN: Lauren Brown
Commodore Business Machines
1200 Wilson Drive
West Chester, PA 19380
Read the CBMDOC.TXT file for more information. Hope this helps out.
