Well, having used the wonderful people on CIS to answer SO many of my most obscure questions, I am now going to turn to you for computer buying guidence. I am currently using an Amiga 500 w/4 meg of RAM, a 40 meg HD and the stock processors and Chip set. I was just in the process of looking at upgrades to a higher Amiga (2000,2500,etc) when the Amiga 3000 appeared. Basically, my problem is this: Amongst all my productivity software, I have put together a good size collection of 'entertainment' software, most of which will problably not run on a 3000 due it's increased speed. Rather than sink money into the 3000 and lose my software, should I be looking at a 2500/30 for the added flexibility ? (Being able to switch from one processor to the other will save my game collection) What will I be missing out on that I'd be getting with the 3000 ? I'm really having a mental block and would appreciate any comments or suggestions from someone who's mind is not quite as foggy as mine is right now… I am inclined to go with the 2500/30, but if I'm overlooking something, I want to find out first ! HELP ! ! Ultra ! (Steve)
