Khalid experienced a similiar problem, not so long ago, and what he did
was to move J300 over, from pins 2-3 to 1-2. It worked, but you'll still
lose a few seconds or so per hour. What happened in his case was that the
power supply was sending out a garbage TICK signal to the 8520 and the rest
of the system. You might want to try that.
