Talk about a space case! I managed to DELETE that last message you sent me! (What planet am I on?!) Anyway, my wife does interactive video programming for a large consulting firm with well-known clients. She is trying to get Amigas into the office, but folks are scared away by the graphics limitations. They want 640x480x256 colors or they won't enven look at a system. She was hoping that HAM-E might be able to give her that, but the graphics artists are complaining that < 400 horizontal resolution is not good enough for them. Right now, they are using extended VGA on IBM PofS/2 systems, and getting 640x 480×256 using Deluxe Paint II for PC. Most folks here on CIS say that they wouldn't pay for such a system when an Amiga will do so much more, but the graphics artists don't want to be bothered by money or learning a new system, so the office buys the stuff for them. (Macs too, for some of them.) Anyway, it's a case of always finding one more excuse. Whenever my wife finds a way to counter an objection, they find a new objection. Chris -)—–
