Brian,
Thanks for the information on the jumper. As I was telling Don I found
that the 8520 that is fed by that signal was going bad. I put in a new
8520 and sure enough the system clock came back to life. Hope this is the
last 8520 I have to put in there! You and Don got me centered on that TICK
signal which lead me to the problem chip, many thanks!
