While we're talking about 2.0 bugs…
My wife has discovered the following bugs under 2.0:
1) If the filenames of redirected input and output (ie. < and >)
are
too long (ie.
dev:directory/directory/directory/long_file_name.ext),
then the system give a "too many < or >" type error.
2) The GLOBAL and REMOVE options of the ALIAS command do not work;
they
are not recognized by the command.
3) If she creates a NewShell with the NewShell command, she gets a
close gadget–UNLESS she creates the window from
Startup-Sequence.
If the latter, then no close gadget.
4) This sequence causes the system to freeze up: 1) create a new
drawer, 2) open the drawer, 3) put the drawer icon into the
trashcan,
4) (empty the trash: may be optional), 5) create a new drawer in
the same window with the old name. 6) Try to close the
old-drawer
window.
What's the proper way to report this kind of thing? Are any of these
"known" bugs?
Thanks
