Thank's John for your advice. I had in fact already spent what seemed like ages backing up the drive in case so you can imagine how hacked off I was to find that the software would not run. On reflection what you say about the user manual/2090 controllers makes perfect sense as I see that the manual was last revised in 1987! I'm having a lot of fun with the 1500 and even have a little space left on my desk now. Only other problem is that I had 3mb on the a500 but was unable to get my hands on any Simms yesterday. As a result my startup sequence needed drastic surgery to prevent 'out of memory' gurus. Strange how we take things for granted until we no longer have them. Joe Wylot – via Whap!
