I don't think Apple or IBM would ask their users to dump their platforms. I think that Apple and IBM will get together to push a UNIX (multitasking, multiuser) like OS with a Macintosh front end that would be easy to use that would run on both IBM and Apple computers. Future models will contain RISC chipsets to substantially increase performance. That way, the market will eventually shift over to the higher performance machines. Over the flight pattern… – via Whap!
