I am seeing more and more video out there in the 'everyday' business
sector. That why I jumped in to your thread when I did. Video is popping
up in some very unexpected places…
Thrift Drug (a 450 store Drug Store chain, based in Pittsburgh) decided
last year to present their Christmas merchandising program to their
individual stores via a 2 hour video presentation (in lieu of the printed
format used in the past.)
Each buyer wrote and appeared in a section of the video, showing examples
of how to merchandise Christmas product, pointing out what was new,
reviewing pricing, ticketing, and signage procedures…
That's the kind of thing that's going on… all over the place.
