This is a no-win situation for everyone. The original poster now has a
number of different viewpoints on which to base her decision. That's all I
wanted to accomplish.
If she had asked a question regarding Desktop Video in the Apple-II forums,
I would have suggested that she investigate the Amiga. (And then I would
have gotten blasted by the Apple-II'ers!)
If anyone wishes to continue this discussion, I'll be happy to respond in
