Rick, The way Whap! is handled is a bit unorthodox. The shareware concept is "if you like it, pay for it". With Whap! it's "you can't pay for it unless you like it". In other words, ATI will not let a someone have the registered version unless they are using the demo and like it enough to register it. Registration is done online by a 128 byte binary email sent to your id (your user id becomes the serial number for the program). Whap! is relatively complicated to set up and may not be for everyone. Requiring you to use the demo (it's functional, just has the annoying guilt screens) ATI avoids the obvious support issues of "Gee, I didn't know it did that, I don't like it", or "I can't get this set up", etc.
