I'll agree with you that Windows is about as useful as tail fins on a computer. I long ago trashed that worthless piece of trash in my office. Since Microsoft is the author of Windows, I doubt that any goodwill will accrue to them. It will take some time before Apple/IBM doings hit anyway, and they'll try to reap their return on investment on the high end users. Then, like everything else, these benefits will "trickle down" to the users with mere mortal computer budgets… Over the flight pattern… – via Whap!
