Why would I bad mouth the Amiga when I have a soft spot in my heart for it. Besides, I am not one given to picking on someone (or something) who is down, and the Amiga is relatively down (reasonably the bottom). Also quite correct that I am not effectively educated about the Amiga. How many folks are, percentage-wise. A pitiful few. We all know that. I know that grates on Amiga enthusiasts, but blaming me won't help. Actually, Amiga folks would better blame themselves. You are probably unaware, but we Mac'ers are more responsible for the Macs relative success than Apple. I am fortunate enough to have immediate and easy access to a powerful Amiga set-up, but to date I have not utilized that advantage. Hey, it won't run programs such as Digital Darkroom, Adobe Illustrator, Quark Express, Adobe PhotoShop, Theorist, and FileMaker Pro. Is that my fault? Even if a platform is ten times as powerful it would not do me any good if I couldn't run such software. You may not be aware that Apple has always made certain that good software has always been available for Macintosh. When Apple couldn't attract a major developer (or well respected small developer, which it often courts), it develops its own, or at least provides pertinent tools. Have fun, —GeM
