Surely you must know that the IIfx can be enhanced as well. Like many other knowledgeable computerists, I've long ago realized that laboratory-type speed comparisons serve only to give magazine reviewers something to do. Only real-world speed tests mean anything, and that's difficult to do across platforms. I do play close attention to speed tests that perform the same operation using the same software on various Mac platforms, but beyond that I'll leave such tests to you believers <hehe>. RE: "I find it very annoying not to have a command line while developing software." You're wasting your breath discussing software development with me, Tim. I'm not a developer and the only true programming I've ever done was on other platforms in the early days of computing. Contrary to what you contend, though, I have personally witnessed claims from major multi-platform developers that the Mac is an easy platform for development. You couldn't prove it either way by me.
