I'm a bit out of my league here, so if anyone else can explain it better, please do. First off, maybe I should have said 'record locking' instead of file sharing. What you DON'T want to have happen is to have two workstations working on the same set of data at the same time. I understand that WB 2.0 supports record locking, but true network programs need to know when to allow file sharing (so that two users can run the same program at the same time). Putting more than one copy of a program on a network is wasteful…
