Blue Ribbon SoundWorks should be releasing a Universal Librarian as an Accessory for Bars&Pipes Professional in the fall. For those who don't know what that is, it's a program that will allow you to store all your synth and sound module patches to a floppy disk, and then retrieve them from disk back to your synth. You can organize all your patches, similar to the way you work with a database. It should also be released as a stand-alone product. You'll be able to create drivers for any MIDI synth. ******** User Poll ******** How many of you would be interested in a Universal Editor from the Blue Ribbon SoundWorks? It would be released as both an Accessory to B&P Pro, and as a stand-alone product. It would work in conjunction with their Universal Librarian. A Universal Editor allows you to edit the patches on your synth using the mouse and a graphical representation of the parameters you wish to edit on your monitor. It's much better than using your synth's small LCD display and paging through menus. Although there are other Editors on the market, if Blue Ribbon does one it should have an outstanding interface. The price will also be very reasonable. If released, the Editor will also allow you to create your own templates for any MIDI synth that exists. Please respond YES or NO: I AM INTERESTED IN HAVING BLUE RIBBON RELEASE A UNIVERSAL EDITOR THAT WILL ALSO ALLOW YOU TO CREATE YOUR OWN TEMPLATES? It's important that you answer even if you're NOT interested, so they can gauge user interest. Also, please indicate if you'd be interested in the B&P Pro Accessory or the stand-alone product that does not require any other software to use. Thanks for your anticipated cooperation. Dom Fontana
