Scott, just as I said when quoting the manual: you can only position an object interactively when in the last frame of the timeline. You described how to change the position in the Action script. Of course, leaving the timeline to one frame works, because any information in frames extending beyond a timeline is maintained from the last time it was changed, i.e. at the end of the timeline. I like being able to extend an animation without having to stretch ALL the timelines. Blaq! – via Whap!
