ARexx with HyperBook
I recently came across this reference to what appears to be an easy way to
approach ARexx for non-programmers. ARexx may be a relatively simple tool
from the programmers standpoint, but I recently purchased the program and
looked through the manual. Even though I'm never afraid to get my feet wet,
it seems like learning ARexx enough to use it with multimedia or for the
batch processing of photos would be a daunting task without a programmer's
background.

includes a built-in Arexx program editor and an absolute wealth of new
commands to integrate Hyperbook functions with standard ARexx. One of the
examples included with HB is an ARexx reference that I've been referring to
constantly. If you've been meaning to learn ARexx, this one example is
worth Hyperbook's $99.95 price-tag."
Have any of you bought Hyperbook and do you agree with the author's
evaluation of the ARexx interface? Is it possible to devise a way to use
ARexx with buttons and a graphics interface like some of the other
multimedia programs? Any input would be appreciated.
