I have used an MNP modem on CIS and with Whap! for two or three years, the
Practical Peripherals PM2400SA. I did NOT check the MNP box on Whap!, but
had no troubles at all using the modem.
Now, I'm using the PPI PM9600SA, with v.42bis, and that works with no
problems, too.
