I bought it at Metropolitan Computer in Dallas in late April. It ran me $800 (cheaper because I'm a student). None of the Commodre accesories are out for it, so I bought a third party disk drive (Roctec $100), and this summer a A2000 keyboard and a third party adapter cable, which ran me about $140 combined. My understanding is that CDTV is currently only released in a few cities, and in limited numbers. The full release is to come this fall, around October. However, you might be able to purchase it direct from Commodore right now. I've heard that the accesories will be available at the full release time. If that includes the keyboard, then it should be worth waiting for as it will probably be cheaper than what I paid, and certainly more convenient than what I've got. There are over 25 titles out right now, and they're running in the neighborhood of $35 to $60. Lemmings cost me $40 and SimCity cost $56 (store, not list prices). The interface for SimCity is as impressive as Grolier's. Both titles have CD quality soundtracks. I'm currently writing up some comments that I'll put in TEG or library 14 of the GAMERS forum, so check over there in about a week. –Pat
