#A2320 Monitor Help
Robert, Here's a little more info for you on the A2320. The A2320 will only
work with a multi sync monitor only, not a VGA monitor as the VGA's have a
small difference in horizontal scan frequency from what the A2320 puts out.
As stated in the manual; some of the supported monitors are Commodore 1950,
NEC MultiSync, and MuliSyncII, Mitsubishi Diamond Scan, Zenith ZCM 1490
Taxan Multivision 770 Plus, and AOC MultiSync CM-314. The output connector
on the A2320 is a DB15 female VGA-style connector. I remember when the
A2320 first came out, There was a couple of people who complained that the
A2320 did not fill the display screen completly and there was up to 3/4
inch black border around the picture. You may have to ask around about this
one before you purchase a monitor. I think someone said that a Taxan
monitor came pretty close to filling the screen but the size controls were
all the way to the ends. I have the Diamond scan by Mitsubishi that had
about a half inch border. I was lucky enough to get inside the monitor and
make some changes to get a full screen. I like the diamond scan because it
also has seperate NTSC input also.
