Hee, hee. Thanks, Wayne & Clint.
Now let's see if we can get some positive action here. When our District
Manager gets back from vacation next week, I will pass Wayne's complaint on
directly to her. In the meantime, I will contact the manager at the SB
store and do some polite informational development. She suffers at this
time from knowing very, very little about computers, and although she wants
to change, so far her development has been strictly MSDOS-oriented. Sad,
but a feature of the business and her location. If I could do her MSDOS
business I would be a very happy man (Well, as long as I don't lose my
Amiga business, of course).
Employee turnover at that location has been very high as the old staff has
been weeded very effectively, and, I think, for the most part, very
usefully. Look for more stable employees in the next month or so.
As for book orders, I have a feeling that's probably a real problem related
to how orders are handled @ that location. I will speak on that problem as
well.
Of course, if you don't mind the drive, I don't mind the business 🙂
