GVP Compo + EGS 110/24

compliant, AmigaDOS applications is of course the bundled software provided
with the EGS-110/24. Firstly there is the EGS workbench driver, which
traps all V2.0 Workbench library calls (requires V2.0 or later kickstart
ROM) and reroutes these to the hardware independent EGS graphics library.
The EGS graphics library can be regarded as a SUPERSET of Commodore's
Workbench (and graphics) library functions Each and every Workbench library
function is duplicated in teh EGS library and the function is then
performed directly on the EGS-11024 hardware (instead of on the Amiga's
built-in [ antique ] graphics hardware). Amazingly enough, the EGS
libraries coupled with the EGS-110/24 hardware perform all Workbench
functions faster than is the case using the Amiga's built-in graphics
hardware/software (using the same CPU!). In fact an 8-bit deep workbench
Window on an EGS-110/24 can be moved around FASTER (and in realtime within
the window frame) than a similar sized 2-bit deep workbench window on the
Amiga's built-in graphics hardware! This means that the speed and "feel"
of all Workbench programs running on (or redirected) the EGS-110/24 display
will be much faster. Note that the EGS Workbench driver (when installed)
literally reroutes all Amiga Workbench and graphics library calls to the
EGS-110/24 hardware and [ perhaps a line is missing from my copy of the
fax, but this paragraph ends here in midsentence 🙁 ]

Commodore 1950/60 monitor (any multisync, syncing from 15KHz):
Interlaced – 768×575, 720×575, 720×475, 640×400 (Amiga hires),
640×200 (Amiga standard)
non-interlaced – 650×480 (VGA), 800×600 (SVGA), 1024×768 (SVGA) IDEK
5317/21, most mulyisyncs, syncing in range 30Khz – 80KHz:
(all non-interlaced) 1024×768 (SVGA), 1120×832 (NeXt),
1182×900 (SUN),1280×1024, 1600×1280
