I'm sorry the jumper broke. Only the HD would work correctly with the
config. I gave you. If they are reg Chinnon drives, you would have to set
the one on the end of the 23 pin lead as DF0: (bottom roe of jumpers with
the center and right one jumped) and the one that connects in the middle of
the lead as DF1: (bottom roe of pins with left and center jumped). You
would also have to select DF1: on the J301 jumper. A high density drive
will have a sensor on both the left and RIGHT side of the drive where the
disk goes in. The sensors would check for the holes in the disk (write
protect on the left and HD on the right. If there isn't a sensor on the
right side, they are regular 880 drives. Sorry if any of what I mentioned
caused you any problems.
