Jon, you shouldn't give up so easily! Whether it's Imagine or Lightwave or whatever, 3D is a hell of a lot of fun once you get the hang of it! Before giving up totally, why don't you consider getting some additional reference material for Imagine, like Steve Worley's excellent Understanding Imagine 2.0 book or my "Imagine: the Possibilities" VHS tape? And feel free to ask questions here and in Amigavendor. Anyone who uses 3D software has hit its immense learning curve, but the ride keeps 'em coming back for more! –Rick Rodriguez
