Funny you should ask today! I just had lunch with the Sony West Coast Laser
Disk marketing manager, and one of the subjects that we discussed was
laser quality.
He told me that the CRV was Beta-SP quality. His words, not mine!
The re-writable disks are lower quality than the write-once.
We have the Sony LVR-5000a (write-once) disk system.
