Jim: Yes… but you are suffering some performance loss in a memory scheme such as 3DS uses when you are either providing all the memory that Windows can make available for 3DS and switching to another program is therefore slower, or you're giving Windows enough breathioff ng room and slowing down 3DS. As I understand it… all you're doing is using Windows as a task swapper in this case… and you might as well run DOS 5's task swapper. I agree that something that works like it would under OS/2 makes alot of sense. In fact, it would be smart of the Yost group to allow you to "Render in the background" while you do something else by allowing 3DS to manage the system <grin>. C#
