Thank you for your response. I have removed the tablet driver (tablet /1 /c4) and moved to an el cheapo mouse (imouse driver from intracom). I was using a Mouse Systems optical (msmouse driver). Currently the gremlin persists. I cannot return to the original mouse (msmouse optical) since the reason for the change was it's failure. The R2 docs say something about using the SUMMA ADI ala R1, but I looked at my old R1 \driver directory and had no SUMMA ADI. Hmmm. Gail at Summa tells me that they have an R2 driver in beta, and is mailing it to me. Also the drivers that came with the pad were ver ….06 while current drivers are ver …11. So she is sending new drivers as well. Basicly, I changed too many things at one time….memory/vga card/summa…and now need to untangle what I have done. Wish me luck, and thanks for the help.
