One thing to try out is reset your machine with the three finger salute and
retry QB5.02. If that doesn't work, turn the machine off then back on and
try again. I'm not sure what I did but all I know is that QB5.02 has that
"3-D" look just like 5.01 did and I haven't touched it since applying the
patch and a few system resets and turning the system off.
I haven't tried backing up with it yet so I'm not sure if the symptoms you
cited exist after this discovery…
