Does QB502 fix the problem of losing the remainder of a backup set if a media error occurs while restoring compressed files? I had a read error (after performing backup with verification) on disk 10 of a 50 disk set and was informed by tech support that the remainder of my backup could not be read. Fortunately, I developed my own method of repairing the damaged disk so I could do a full restore, but I wasn't pleased. I was astonished that a backup utility would be released with CCS knowing that a single media error would result in the loss of the remainder of the backup without any warning about this "feature" of compressed backup.
