Version 1.60 of Xetec's CD software now supports Mac HFS discs. Out of the
three competing CD-ROM files systems (CD-RomFS, ASimCDFS, & Xetec) the
Xetec software is far and away the best. It has a very slick and easy to
use installer, a polished CD-Audio player, includes CLI utilities and
programming info, pre-written scripts for dozens of CDTV titles, and more.
They also provide good support for the CD software on their BBS.
Frankly, I'm puzzled as to why Xetec doesn't advertise their CD-ROM
filesystem in Amiga mags, as it's easily superior to the other filesystems
and interest in CD-ROMs is increasing.
