John, If you have something to do with lightwave, did you get my wish list? I also came up with some others. Under the 'select' section, add a choice for "Surface" that produces a requester of the surface names. Then somehow highlight the vertices and edges that belong to that surface. Add a "delete" option to the surface name requester from the Options menu. It gets wearisome going through all those names if you work on a bunch of objects in a single session. If the name has a vertex associated with it just put out an alert that says you can't delete the name until the surface has been deleted or its associated object is no longer loaded in the modeller. Non-rigid body modelling is something I could really use. Banners/flags as moving objects (rather than staionary waving obects) come up a lot in requests I've had. It would be n ice to be able to specify which axis has which amount of rigidity/stiffness and specify a point at which the motivating force is applied, the path of the force and have the banner type thingy loop, whip and wave naturally as it is pulled/pushed around a path. Without this it is morph mania and it never looks real natural. I'd like envelopes for light color as well as intensity. I'd also like a new type of light – visible – one that you can see with the camera. It could have options for umbra fall-off, and to enable "sundogs" when the light passes within a certain cone that is a sub-cone of the feild of view. And of course, surface morphing, either imagery or values (diffusion, specularity, color, etc.) wmc
