Javier, there's good news and bad news. The good news is that Lightwave is designed to take advantage of acellerators with co-processors. The bad news is that there is no floating point co-processor on the 040 board, any operation which makes good use of it will be slower without one. It has been well documented on this forum and in Amia publications that texture mapping is much slower on the 040 than it is with an 030 w/co-processor.
