That's just the sort of case I am using for my external drives to an A3000.
It is a mini-tower with a 300watt supply. Cost around $84. Accomodates two
external 5.25" 1/2 height and two external 3.5" with room for more internal
drives. It has a CDRom, Syquest and 3.5" SCSI tape drive in it now.
