Actually, as i understand it (and heard it) that most of the 2.0 compatible software "will" be compatible with the new machines. It's just that "new" software that will address the new specific features of the new Amigas will not work with our current models. I forsee in the future that even if Commodore does not provide hardware level upgrades, that 3rd parties may. It is not that importatn, what is important is that CBM make the technological plunge regardless of whether compatiblity is maintained or not…… -Jonathan
