Larry, according to a tech I know, he says the heads should last between 750
and 1000 hrs. if treated well ie. cleaned every 50 hrs, cool and clean
operating environment. The book says 500 to 1000 and he estimates thats
conservative. Usually with head replacement you also need to overhaul pinch
rollers etc. Probably run around $500. -JE
