Hilary, Ok, you're getting wave files to play. Now, to get the .mid (midi file types) to play through the Sound Blaster, you'll have to make sure the midi device drivers are installed in Windows (Control Panel, Drivers applet). Make sure the interrupts and IRQs are set to what you set your card at. Once this is done, go to the Midi Mapper applet and select SBP All FM (this is what I had to use to get the midi to work). Now try the midi file type on the Nautilus disc using Media Player, if you don't get any error messages and you get sound you should be set for midi. If this doesn't seem to work, we'll have to make sure a file in the windows system directory, midmap.cfg is the correct one for the SB Pro. In the Nautilus Application, the very first page should have a pushbutton for 256 color, make sure this is selected. I think 256 color is required to use the video file types. You can also test the .avi file types using the Media Player provided you have installed the Video for Windows extensions from the Nautilus disc. You need to do this anyway to see the videos from Nautilus. I'm sure if I've left out something, the real experts here will pitch in. Let me know how it goes.
