The reason Atari's stock went up like it did was the announcement that IBM
would build the Jaguar. Atari's stock price didn't move that much (like a
point, maybe a point and a half) when Jaguar was first announced.
You can get that information by typing GO SECURITIES, and requesting daily
quotes information.
The 5000 April fool's joke has been going around for months now, so I doubt
that has much to do with anything either.
I've been hearing about the Jaguar for about 6 months now. I'd love to see one
of those things when it's out. I just hope they keep going on the Lynx, 'cause
I love the one I have.
