#A5000
Nah, that "DEC Alpha" thing is low-tech; that's how you know it's just a
rumor. The _real_ 5000 has a cubic array of 68060's running as a parallel
quasi-parasitic nonlinear processor hidden-assist network. Runs about
8,000 MIPS at 66 mhz and is completely compatible with all 68k family
software.
AmigaDOS 7 was specially designed to support this unusual system topology
by detecting the CPU's and immediately melting down the blitter using
"embarassment automation".
I got this right from the horses mouth, by the way – just before he spat
it on the floor of the stable. :^)
