I used to use SuperPlan, and gave up on it for the reason you gave in your note. I just could not get it to print properly. Also, it did not use file requesters. When you wanted to load a file, you were given a list of the files in the local directory. If you wanted something outside the directory, you had to supply the full path name. The spreadsheet itself was nice, kind of like the CP/M and MS/DOS program SuperCalc (which is different from the more popular Lotus family). The "great new spreadsheet" you have heard rumors about is probably the one that Khalid Aldoseri is working on. He has done a lot of shareware programs and systems for the Amiga. The problem with this is that shareware support is not as solid as that from establised companies, like MSS, publisers of Exelence!, and Agis. The problem with waiting for the New Improved Version, is that you don't get to use the Current Working Version, and instead struggle with the Old Bearly Usable Version. No matter when the NIV comes out, there will be a Newer More Improved Version in the wings. MaxiPlan IV is OK, and ProCalc 2.0 is pretty darn good. I would be more than willing to trade in my version of SuperCalc for any version of Analyze!, and both MP IV and PC 2.0 are heads and sholders above both.
