Oh well, it seems that C= is willing to correct the mistakes on their old boards at their cost – at least if you get something like a 4091 controller. I just put a 2091 in my machine and it was a completely painless operation. Plugged it in, and it showed up automagically when I ran HDToolBox. Installation of the CD-ROM was equally easy, though I did have to manually tell it to use the '2nd.scsi.device' instead of the default 'scsi.device'. I seriously doubt you'll have any prolems….(knock wood). As for tearing into machines…I cut my teeth on bare-board appleIIs and S-100 buss 8080's, so I've developed a sort of antagonistic relationship with my machines. If they don't act up, I treat them right. If they start giving me problems,…well, they better watch out! :^) Good luck, Erik Flom
